Ravensdale Lodge hosts an evening with Dermott Lennon
On the tenth anniversary of his famous world championship win and just a month after his win in one of the worlds toughest and most prestigious Grand Prix at Olympia, 2002 world show jumping champion Dermott Lennon is to demonstrate his skills as a rider and producer of horses at Ravensdale Lodge. Dermott will give a demonstration at the County Louth venue after show jumping at the centre on Thursday 9th February with a start time of 7.30pm. All proceeds from the night will go towards the the arena party fund for the London 2012 Olympics. Raymond Jess and his party are on duty at the worlds greatest event later in the year and are doing so on a completely voluntary basis so vital funds will be needed for the party to travel and stay in London for the duration. "Dermott is one of the worlds finest show jumpers and has done it all" stated Raymond Jess, "He competes at the highest level on the world stage on a weekly basis and his recent Olympia win proves his talent. He is a local man of which we should all be proud of and we are really delighted that he has offered his time to display his talents and share his techniques in the production of show jumpers from novice to Grand Prix level. We are also very grateful to Ravensdale Lodge who have offered us the use of their world - class facilities on the night. It promises to be a great evenings entertainment and tickets can be bought at the door on the evening.
