BLAIR CASTLE BARCLAYS INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS

Bruadar Sign Up For Country Fair For The Next Three Years Including European Championships
Blair Castle Barclays International Horse Trials and The Scottish Liqueur Centre Ltd are pleased to announce that their on-going partnership will continue for at least the next three years. Bruadar will continue their title sponsorship of The Bruadar Country Fair at the Blair Castle Barclays Horse Trials.
The announcement comes hard on the heels of news that Blair has attracted a new headline sponsor in Barclays and that the Perthshire event has been awarded the prestigious European Eventing Championships in 2015. Recently appointed Assistant Director, Nicky Townshend, has obviously wasted no time in making her mark, also announcing a new improved layout for the event as they work towards 2015.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors again this year to what will surely be one of Scotland's Top Sporting & Countryside events for 2013. We are sure everyone will love the new layout and the enhanced shopping and arena space for The Bruadar Country Fair" commented Nicky.
Blair Castle Barclays International Horse Trials is Scotland's leading equestrian event and this year runs over four days from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 August 2013. Olympic medalists compete alongside amateurs in the four International event classes, whilst British Showjumping and Showing classes provide a platform for riders in other disciplines to compete on Blair's hallowed turf.
The Bruadar Country Fair compliments the equestrian activities on the Saturday and Sunday, featuring displays of both traditional and more modern countryside pursuits. Over 200 trade stands cater for every shopper's desire, from handmade chocolates to luxury 4x4 vehicles. Every visitor (of legal drinking age!!) to the Bruadar Country Fair will receive a complimentary tasting of Bruadar!!
Scottish Liqueur Centre M.D. Kenny MacKay is equally enthusiastic about the developments. "Having been involved at Blair for many years it is really pleasing to be looking forward to The European Championships here in Perthshire in 2015. Being a local event and with a heavy focus on charity we're delighted to support it.

One of the most admired features of the Blair event is the amount of money raised each year for charity with the organisers choosing a partner charity each year.
This year will surely prove one of the most popular ever with Guide Dogs Scotland as the chosen partner and to mark the event the charity are naming one of their puppies in training "Blair".
Bruadar will also be getting involved in the fundraising by again hosting their popular Friday Night Charity Whisky Tasting with all the ticket sales going to Guide Dogs Scotland.
Last year's event for The RNLI was a complete sell out so whisky lovers are encouraged to apply for tickets early!!
