Midway Group Cross Challenge

Midway Group Cross Challenge set for Ravensdale Lodge.

Round two of the exciting Midway Group's Cross Challenge moves to Ravensdale Lodge next Sunday, 6th June with a scheduled start time of 9am. After a hugely successful first year in 2009, this innovative four leg league involves a round of arena show jumps followed immediately by a compact round of cross - country fences.

All cross - country courses have one thing in common, they have been designed by expert course designer Tony Mac Manmon and two of the courses (Ravensdale Lodge and Tullymurray) host a one - day event for Eventing Ireland. Classes for each venue are the same and start with a 3'3" course before moving down to 2'9" and 2'3" and while each venue run the same classes each venue offers a uniquely different course both for show jumping and for cross - country.

There is a super prize fund of £1000 for successful class winners in the final, an added incentive to jumping top class tracks as well. Remaining league dates and venues Ravensdale Lodge, Sunday 6th June, Mill Yard 20th June, Tullymurray 27th June and the final to be held at Mill Yard on 4th July.
