National TREC Championships
TREC Ireland is hosting the National TREC Championships in Grangeclare Paddocks, Kells, Co. Meath on the 22nd to 24th of July. The event is now in its third year, and with the addition of the 'Grangeclare Cup' Perpetual Cup this year, is sure to be the highlight of the competitive season thus far. Suiting newcomers as well as experienced TREC competitors, classes involve all four levels, pairs and individuals. The venue has all facilities on site, including B&B accommodation, stabling, camping and corralling. Please view www.grangeclarepaddocks.com. The competition starts on Friday 22nd July with vetting of all horses. Saturday 23rd sees the Orienteering phase followed by the social evening.
Horses are re-vetted on Sunday 24th prior to the Control of Paces and Obstacles phases. These are followed by the prize giving. Entries for the weekend (including entry fee, insurance, lunch & social on Saturday) are €70 (€56 TREC Ireland members) and are due by July 14th.
