Two Day Equine Biomechanics Course
Taking place on the 10th and 11th of September at the Defence Animal Centre, Asfordby Road, Melton Mowbray LE13 OGX, this in depth course will look at equine biomechanics applied to riding training and management. It will include, the appendicular and axial skeletons, tendons and ligaments, posture, strength, suppleness and the biomechanical effect of asymmetrical riders.
We are fortunate to be hosted by the Army School of Farriery and will have access to a wonderful selection of army horses and riders for the practical parts of the course.
The centre boasts excellent facilities for both horses and people; a well equipped classroom, large modern indoor and outdoor schools and excellent catering facilities. It is also a superb opportunity to learn a little about the lives of our military horses. The day will start with coffee and danish pastries or muffins, lunch is included and tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
On Saturday night we will organise an evening dinner to enable participants to get the most from the course.
