Among the joys, for me, of being involved with horses are relaxation, achievement (sometimes), fun, humour and a pure escape from the stresses of day to day life.
As an amateur rider and member of Hollybrook Riding Club, I became involved in equine photography after many years of photographing maritime subjects in connection with my work.
After taking competition photos for friends, I found their reaction was overwhelming in terms of the pure pleasure they got from my photos. Subsequently I have completed some commissions for show coverage and yard promotion. My photography is regularly featured on the Hollybrook Riding Club website and I have also been fortunate to do a series of masterclass photos for Ireland's Horse and Pony magazine.
In providing a personalised photographic service to horse owners and riders, I capture them and their equine companions in a way which represents the personalities of horse and rider, and the enjoyment of their bond, achievement or simply a special occasion. Specialising in outdoor photography, I believe in a friendly, informal service which delivers and exceeds expectations, and captures the special moments that will be cherished.
