Heather Jansch- Driftwood Horses
Heather Jansch is a driftwood sculptor who has had a passion for drawing and horses for as long as she can remember. Her dream was to become an international equestrian artist and this is what led her to become the driftwood sculptor that she is today.
Heather gets driftwood that has washed up along the Devon coast, the local estuaries and often local estates will supply her with oak. People will also often approach Heather with bits of material that they think she might find interesting or that she could use in her work.
Her main focus is driftwood horses but she does create other pieces of figurative art or site-specific constructions.
